An Elizabeth II Silver Five-Light Candelabra, by Asprey and Co. Ltd., London, 1972 in the George I style, the cast base octagonal and with tapering stem, the detachable branches with four scrolling arms, each with faceted socket and conforming wax-pan, the further central socket with detachable finial 38cm high, 54oz 5dwt, 1,687gr Fully marked under base. Further part marked on candle arms, wax pans and detachable finial. The marks are generally clear. The base further stamped with maker's name. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a bruise to the base which cases the stick to lean somewhat and some further bruising to the arms.
